The Candy Shop - 100% Polwarth
Hand-Dyed 100% Fine organic Polwarth from the Falkland Islands is one of my new favorite fibers to spin with. This wool is sturdy while still being luxurious and soft. It’s like combining the best qualities of Merino wool with the hardy endurance of Lincoln.
-Polwarth breed has 25 percent Lincoln and 75 percent Merino.
-Beginner friendly.
-Approximately 4 ounces.
-Fiber diameter averages 22 microns.
-Long staple length.
NOTE: The llama always recommends hand-washing with cold water, wool detergent, and lying flat to dry.
Hand dyed in small lots from Lair of the Llama's studio in Michigan, each batch is unique and special and is made with tons of love and respect!

CARE & LOVE. The Llama always recommends hand-washing with a wool detergent such as Eucalan. Please wash your hand-dyed projects individually with cold water and lay flat to dry. I dye using professional acid dyes. All roving has been thoroughly washed but it is possible that some color remains (especially with the darker/stronger colors) and may produce some light bleeding during your first wash.
We are UNIQUE & SPECIAL! All roving is dyed by hand in small batches. Each batch of roving is unique and there are small differences in tones, speckles and the distribution of color. Please make sure to purchase enough roving for your project at the same time. I do my best to ensure consistency between batches, but it is impossible to avoid slight difference between them.
PROJECT QUANTITIES. The Llama recommends purchasing a sufficient quantity of roving for your project in one order. If you need more roving than currently listed available, please send an email!
PICTURES | PHONE & COMPUTER SCREEN Although I try my absolute hardest to represent the most authentic colors in my photos, please note that they can appear differently on different screens/devices.
ESPANOL! Si tienes alguna duda ya sea sobre los colores, proyectos o pedidos no dudes en mandar un mensaje. Normalmente me toma de uno a dos días en contestar los correos electrónicos. Puedes también conectarte por medio de Facebook e Instagram.
